  • Improving the entrance of Kafaraka

According to the US Federal Highway administration, roundabouts are becoming more popular based on the opportunities to improve safety and increase intersection’s operational efficiency. The advantage of the concept is that, while avoiding car accidents , it will allow heavy trucks to cross through the roundabout. Based on this information and in order to improve the traffic control and minimize the accidents by reducing the intersection points to eight instead of 32 at the entrance of Kafaraka, the municipality of Kafaraka decided to replace the existing old traffic light by a new roundabout. In addition to that a second new roundabout will be constructed on the entrance of Saint Nouhra church.
