The municipality of Kafaraka started a compain to sanitizing the public school and public places. The objective of this compaign is to minimize the propagation of coronavirus.
Monday ,9 of March at 4 o’clock, the Lebanese red cross in cooperation with Kafaraka municipality conducted a seminar regarding reducing the risk of spreading of corona virus.
Under the patronage of the minister of defense Mr Elias Bou Saab the municipality of Kafaraka open the Army Square on the second of August 2019.
The deputies Georges Atallah and Salim saade , Dr. Fadi Karam , the minister of justice, the chief of Koura municipality, representative of the Army leader ,more than 15 of koura mayors and more than 400 habitan from Kafaraka participated in the celebration ceremony.

On 9 of July, the Lebanese government published a new construction permit law.
Dr Georges Elie Fayad was graduated as Medical Doctor (MD)from the Free University of Brussels (Université libre de Bruxelles ULB) with High Distinction grade.
The municipality of Kafaraka congratulates him for his achievement.
Joyce Georges Horkos from Kafaraka Al Koura, won the first prize in a cultural writing competition organized in Al Mina municipality. The competition was between the students of high school in the North of Lebanon. Joyce was competing in the English section, where her essay was about the role of women in Lebanon. We congratulate her and wish her all the best.
On the occasion of the Mother’s day, the municipality of Kafaraka originated a mass wishing health to all Mothers.
After the mass the mothers were invited to a special lunch.
Doctor Lea Elie Fayed was accepted to conduct a postdoctoral at the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Johns Hopkins Medical Institution, Baltimore, Maryland, USA.
The municipality of Kafaraka congratulates Lea for the new position and wishes her the success in the mission.
